ESG
Environmental, Social and Governance responsibility
At Cityspace, sustainability is at the core of what we do. We prioritise using materials from renewable or recycled sources whenever possible and ensure all construction waste is properly segregated for recycling.
When upgrading electrical or mechanical systems, we focus on designing energy-efficient solutions, including advanced lighting and low-energy systems. Since 2003, we’ve implemented an environmental strategy that emphasizes high recycling rates, waste reduction, energy efficiency and the use of sustainable products.
For air conditioning and ventilation system replacements, we choose the most efficient options available. Our designs incorporate sustainable materials like responsibly sourced timber, eco-friendly carpets and energy-saving systems. Where feasible, we also explore opportunities to improve building insulation during the planning phase of refurbishment projects.
Cityspace has proudly delivered many BREAAM Excellent-rated spaces and is committed to maintaining or exceeding these standards throughout our work. Refurbishing earlier BREAAM-certified buildings is part of our ongoing effort to upgrade systems as they reach the end of their lifecycle.
As an ISO 14001-accredited contractor, we carefully evaluate the environmental impact of every product we use.
Our mission is to continuously minimise waste, enhance sustainability and reduce our environmental footprint across all projects.

Our Values
Accreditations

Cityspace Management is accredited with both ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications (no. 22055). We maintain these standards and certifications through an annual audit on our systems and processes, conducted by external consultants.
ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system. Cityspace Management is committed to improving our environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste. In the last 4 years we have increased our site recycling rates from an average of 96% to 99.9%.
ISO 9001 is a management system standard. This standard includes requirements for quality management. Cityspace Management continues to monitor and meet customer requirements and strives to enhance customer satisfaction.

Aftercare and Support

We recognise that businesses continually evolve, and office requirements can change over time. As such, we provide a full downstream interior design and alteration service to support you through any changes throughout your lease.
No business stands still and so we can keep you fully up to speed with any changes that you may be considering. That includes space planning, changing working styles, accommodating planned growth or even updating branding.
For alterations, we aim to bring back the same site manager who built your project, along with the same tradesmen to execute the work. The unique advantage of this is that the site team knows your office, how it’s constructed, how your landlords works and any restrictions, meaning change can be delivered quickly and effectively.
This is why our clients recommend us, and why they come back to us for future projects.
